Please help us out, and please pass along to your email list of friends and family.
It would mean a great deal to the animals!

"In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we will never hear. They are not brethern, they are not underlings, they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth." ***Henry Beston (1888-1968)

Thank you!

Woo hoo! We are currently in first place for Canada on the Animal Rescue Site Shelter Challenge...

Thank you to everyone who is voting! Don't forget - please vote everyday, and you can even sign up for a daily reminder (it's on the same page where you "click to donate food").

If you are like me, I need that daily reminder!

Please keep asking friends and family to vote too! Voting continues until December 19th so we can't let up the pressure. The animals thank you too!!!

Now, what I am really hoping is that we can turn this into more adoptions as well.

People have been emailing me, saying things like "I just found out about your rescue because of the shelter challenge". Besides winning some money for the animals (ALWAYS helpful!), I would be so happy if the exposure resulted in a few extra adoptions.

At the moment we have some really special dogs and cats, and we have many, many kittens. Unfortunately, most other rescues and shelters do too....

If you know anyone who is looking for a new fur friend, please talk to them about adoption. And if they are in Southern Ontario, please encourage them to check out the Project Jessie website as well as their closest local shelters. There are so many deserving creatures looking for new homes!

Pictured above is Jane. She was an orphan kitty, but is healthy, well socialized and now ready to go to a new home. Maybe with her foster brother Jasper. Wouldn't you like to bring her home?

ttys,

Shelly and crew =^..^=
