What's Going On?

Okay, we all know that bad things happen to animals all the time, but it seems a little too many stories too close to home lately.

First, I hope you could take a look at this video and forward to anyone you might live or work in Toronto. Someone out there must recognize this cat.
The cat we are now calling "Cedar" was found in the afternoon of October 31st in Cedarvale Park, Toronto.
She is between 1 and 2 years young, very friendly and was not spayed. She was wearing a white flea collar.
Cedar had been placed in a large black, zipperered bag and tossed in a trash can nearest the Ava Rd entrance to the park. A reward is being offered for information.  Thanks!

The second story is Elly cat. She is a young (about 5 months) medium haired white cat who was apparently stray, but was brought in and dropped into one of the wonderful places we work with - Global Pet Foods in Alliston. Elly is one of the friendliest, most loving cats that I have ever met. She is now looking for a home of her own.

The last story is dear Michelle. She is a 7 year old poodle/maltese girl - sweet, gentle and lovely with everyone she has met.  She was surrendered to Project Jessie because her people had no time for her and because "when their grandson poked her in the eye or pulled her ears, she would growl"  Sheesh!

When Michelle went to the vet they found that her bloodwork was awful -she went home with antibiotics and an appointment for a week later...
Stay tuned and tomorrow I will let you know what happened.

Thanks, Shelly
