DANGER! - potential cuteness overload....

This adorable pair of kitties are Pomfrey (big white guy) and Lloyd (the little tabby and white fellow). Lloyd is developmentally delayed - he is about 4 months old now but acts maybe 5 or 6 weeks young. Pomfrey doesn't seem to care though - he thinks Lloyd is a lovely little guy and is happy to cuddle him and lick his head.

Thanks to the awesome staff at the Danforth vet clinic who have been fostering Lloyd for the past couple of months while we watched how he progressed.

Lloyd is a weird little guy - but totally adorable!

Phheewww - summer is flying by and I am glad to be back to mostly "normal" again!

This summer I actually went away on vacation - the last time I did that was 10 years ago! It was excellent - we went to the east coast, saw whales, seals, puffins, bald eagles, visited with family - all good stuff!

Thanks so much to Jacqui who came and "critter sat", Andrea, Debra, the girls at Global Pet Foods, Willa, and everyone else who made it possible for me to leave critters here in good hands and not worry too much. Thank you!!!

Now that I am back, things are ramping up to busy again. With dogs, we have pups to seniors, in cats we have 2 nursing moms and their babies, kittens, cats to seniors.

The biggest happy news - dear Luki has a home!!! After waiting so long, he has gone to live with a really nice lady and her dog Olive (who looks just like Luki except with slightly longer fur). Luki was really comfortable with them and i am so happy.

The other big news is that the beagles and cats at the University of Guelph VStep program all have homes to go to. Thank you to everyone!

I hope your summer is going well - and please hug your companion critters today!
