Summer fun...

Yup - what a HOT summer it's been here. I hope you are coping okay.
As usual, every shelter seems full of cats and kittens - dogs are faring a bit better though.

Momma dog Ruby was adopted, dear Quiz has been placed, Toby is being adopted by his foster mom and even a few of the longer term dogs have found homes.

One girl we have had for quite awhile and is still looking, is Belle. She is a little pomeranian x girl (about 9 pounds), only 3 years old and very sweet. Although she gets along with the dogs and cats in her foster home, she would really prefer to be with people instead of other creatures, and will sometimes growl if they come to close while she is getting all the pats.
She would be AWESOME for someone who is just looking for a good buddy and doesn't have lots of other animals at home.



We have also started partnering with Tails in Toronto. They are going to be fostering some of our small animals, and it will be lovely to have a nice venue to feature some of the little guys.

They have already helped us to place Pumble - the hedgehog from Sherbrooke and we may have a home for Rosie the guinea pig. Stay tuned!
