Busy, busy!

Phhheeew - I have been very bad at keeping things up to date here - I will try and be better!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello at the All About Pets Show on Easter weekend.

It was very busy, and very successful - several small animals found new homes, we had good leads for a few larger animals and we talked to many people about the benefits of adoption.

All in all a great (but tiring) weekend!

Andrea and I were talking the other day about how busy things have seemed lately and we put our heads together and created a spreadsheet of what creatures had come into foster and/ or been adopted in the last 2 weeks or so. Including many birds (34 finches, 9 doves, 6 budgies - yikes!) Project Jessie has taken in 97 creatures in the last 2 weeks. This included cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, hamsters, birds and a hedgehog.

No wonder we are all pooped!

Many have already gone into their foster or permanent homes, and a few have homes lined up but are not yet there. But that is a lot of little critters to worry about, transport, vet, care for and arrange for.

Busy! Busy!
