What I Like Most About Fostering

#1 - I love it when one of my fosters goes into a fabulous home. :o)
Most recent case like that - the lovely young couple who adopted Miss Boots and were so sweet - they even brought me a card to say thanks for letting them adopt. Awww!
#2 - I love the way that little kittens ears wiggle when they are nursing.
#3- I love knowing that we made a huge difference in a wonderful animals life. If Project Jessie hadn't taken him/her they would be in a bad place or even dead.

It isn't always easy fostering.
Sometimes your foster can be ill, scared, confused or even angry. Sometimes at first they don't seem to appreciate what you are doing for them. Sometimes they act out - chew the sofa, pee on the rug, cower or cry...
But when you hold that little one, and promise them that they are safe now,
or that you will do everything you can to help,
or that everything will be okay...

and when they finally seem to understand that things ARE going to be okay
It is a truly wonderful feeling.

I hope you all have a great weekend.
Hug those creatures that you share your home with and please give them a little squeeze from me.
