Ups and Downs...

So here was my day :
Wake up.
Take dogs out to pee.
Answer some emails.
Get the kiddos off to school.
Feed and medicate everyone here.
Organize adoption paperwork then load up creatures in the car.
Stop at the foster home to drop off the hound x setter that was here overnight after his neuter yesterday.
Drive to see the very nice man who was interested in meeting Earl Gray.

Well the good news for today is that Earl Gray finally found a home! Poor bug has been in foster care since last October - 8 months now - and he has finally found his place to be. Yipee!

Drive up to the Global store to pick up donations of food, scritch and play with Diamond for a bit. Diamond is one of our program cats and he is being featured in the store while he waits for a home. Diamond is AMAZING - so sweet and loving and absolutely gorgeous! (Anybody need to adopt a nice young cat??!?!) :o)

Drive home.
Take dogs out to pee and a quick walk.
Feed and medicate everyone who needs it.

On the very sad side of things, the tiniest of the orphan kittens had died. They all seemed to be doing okay for the last few days, so that was a very sad and awful thing to discover...

Clean litter boxes.
Feed and medicate.
Answer phone calls and emails.
Feed human family.
Take dogs to pee and romp.
Tuck various creatures into bed and get ready to do something very similar again tomorrow...
So how was your day?
Shelly and crew
