Awww - Looking for a new "dear old friend"?

This handsome gentleman is Aldwin - isn't he adorable?
Aldwin (old English for wise, or old friend) fits his name to a "T".
He came to us just before Christmas, and this picture was taken during his first few days in foster care. After a bath and a haircut, a warm bed and some good food - already his coat is starting to shine and he is starting to blossom.
He is a dear little fellow who loves to follow people he knows and trusts. He bounces in the snow and chases his tail and is just a fun loving soul.
He is a mature adult (maybe 8 to 10 years - barely middle aged in little dog terms!). He had a number of fatty lumps and bumps removed when we neutered him and we also did a dentistry.
He suffers from a bit of dry eye which is remedied with eye drops (which he likes getting) twice a day. Aldwin walks nicely on a leash, is learning to be house trained, and is good with cats and dogs.
We suspect he may not have spent much time in a normal house before he came to us as he was afraid of tv, brooms, and people walking by but he is quickly adapting to the life he so well deserves.
If youthink that you have room in in your heart and home for a new "dear old friend" then please call!
On another topic, it is ferociously cold out there in most parts of Canada today - stay warm! And make sure your animals are safe and warm inside too!
(((hugs)))

What a sweetie he is! Funny, I went to school with an "Aldwin". I knit my two little rescued doggies wool coats, and they are sure appreciating them these days, in their brief forays outside.
